At The Heart of Historic Fareham High Street Home      Bar     Restaurant     Food      Ales      Charity       Monty        A pub is not just about good food and fun - it is about being at the heart of the community and having a social responsibility. We felt very proud to be awarded the Charity Shield in 2010 and retaining it in 2011 for our pub's fundraising over £1,700 for the lifeboats - this especially includes all those that support us throughout the year through quiz nights etc . We also had a Charity Night in December for the QA Hospital Breast Cancer Services, with a raffle, back waxings, beard trimmings and auctions etc so far we have raised £2,331.13 a fantastic achievement that will help them to keep offering aftercare services and advice throughout 2012. We also have had a Magic Circle Magic and Balloon Modelling night with the Portsmouth Magic Circle and in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust... Thanks to all of you for your superb, continuing, support for these  amazing causes.
